Video Of KLM Boeing 777 Landing Into 75 MPH Winds

There’s a video circulating of a KLM Boeing 777 landing at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport earlier this week into a windstorm that reached speeds of over 75 MPH. The scariest moment comes at the end when the plane really starts to turn toward its side before the pilot is able to straighten it out.

I’ve heard that one of the biggest compliments you can give to a pilot is “nice landing”, and given the circumstances, these pilots definitely deserve it. I’m glad to see that the plane landed safely and nobody was injured.

Interestingly enough, one of the passengers on-board the plane also shared a video from inside the cabin during the landing when the turbulence got really bad.
