Alaska Airlines Sale Fares To Hawaii
On the heels of the sale fares from Virgin American and Alaska Airlines that came out yesterday, Alaska Airlines is back again with sale fares to Hawaii.
The sale includes flights to Honolulu, Maui, Kauai, and Kona, with fares starting at $159 one-way from San Jose to Honolulu. The best deals appear to be from San Jose, Oakland, and San Diego, with other mainland departure cities available including Bellingham, Portland, Sacramento, and Seattle.
If you’re actively looking for deals to Hawaii, I’d also encourage you to keep an eye out for Alaska’s “Fast-Dash” sale fares which typically come out on Wednesdays around 12noon PST. Usually the flash sale is only around for 2 hours, but I have seen fares as low as $100 one-way to Hawaii.
And lastly, this is a perfect use for the companion fare that comes with the Alaska Airlines credit card, which allows you to add another ticket for $118 round-trip. Remember, you can even use the companion fare ticket for two other people, as long as the purchase is made with your credit card. That’s how I was recently able to fly my family of 6 to Hawaii for 3 tickets + 3 companion fares.
The sale runs through January 11,2015, with travel valid from January 19, 2015 through March 11, 2015. Here are the detailed fare rules and terms and conditions for reference:
