Virgin America 2-Day Sale And Alaska Airlines Deals

In case you’re not in the market for one of the many international flight deals over at The Flight Deal to the Middle East/Africa, Turkey, or Europe, and feel like traveling closer to home, you’re in luck with the latest deals from Virgin America and Alaska Airlines. Here are the details:

Virgin is offering extremely low fares on a wide range of routes, starting from $49 one-way. From SFO for example, $49 one-way will take you to Las Vegas and San Diego, or you can fly to Portland or Los Angeles for $59 one-way. And looking a bit further, you can fly from SFO to Dallas for $114 one-way, Chicago for $149, Washington DC for $159, or New York for $169.

Sale fares are available from a wide range of cities across Virgin’s route network with advanced purchase or 14-21 days required depending on the route. Purchases must be made by 11:59PM CT on Wednesday, January 7th.

Terms and Conditions:

*All tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. CT on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Main Cabin fares are valid for 14-day advance purchase in the following markets: AUS-SFO, DAL-LAX/SFO/LGA/DCA, JFK-FLL, LAS-SFO, LAX-SEA, SFO-SEA, PDX-SFO, LAS-LAX, SFO-LAX, PSP-SFO, SAN-SFO. Travel in aforementioned markets must occur January 20, 2015 – May 9, 2015. Lowest sale fares are only valid for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday and are available only on certain itineraries. For all other markets, Main Cabin fares are valid for 21-day advance purchase. Travel must occur between January 27, 2015 and May 9, 2015. Travel for BOS-LAS must complete by April 11, 2015. Travel for JFK-FLL must complete by April 25, 2015. Lowest sale fares are valid for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday and are only available on certain itineraries. Sale blackout dates are March 13, 2015 – March 22, 2015 and April 3, 2015 – April 6, 2015. Seats are limited, subject to availability, and may not be available on all flights. Flights may not operate daily. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. For travel solely between points in the Western Region (LAS/LAX/PDX/PSP/PVR/SAN/SEA/SFO/SJD only) changes or cancellations can be made for a $100 fee per guest through all channels, plus any increase in fare, if applicable. For all other itineraries, changes or cancellations can be made for a $150 fee per guest through all channels, plus any increase in fare, if applicable. Any remaining balance will be placed in a guest’s travel bank, good for travel on Virgin America for one year from date of issue. Changes or cancellations of a booking made with Elevate Points will be subject to a $100 redeposit fee per guest. Guests who no-show without a change or cancellation prior to the scheduled departure time will forfeit the amount of this fare. In addition, any future flights booked in the same reservation will also be canceled and the fare will be forfeited. Tickets purchased from Virgin America through our reservation call center will cost an additional $20 per guest per itinerary. Any added cost associated with purchasing tickets from Virgin America through our reservation call center will be non-refundable. Fares will not be honored retroactively or in exchange for any wholly or partially used ticket. Fares, routes, fees and schedules are subject to change without notice. Virgin America will accept up to ten pieces of checked baggage, up to 50 pounds each, per ticketed guest traveling within the U.S. The fee for each piece of checked baggage up to 50 pounds is $25. Additional fees apply to baggage exceeding these weight limitations, and other baggage restrictions may apply.

Alaska Airlines

Alaska just released its weekly Insider Deals which offer fares from SFO/SJC/OAK as low as $49 one-way to Salt Lake City, $69 to Palm Springs and Seattle, and $129 to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. If you compare the Palm Springs and Seattle fares head-to-head against those in the Virgin America sale, they actually come out the same or slightly better.

To purchase, you must enter Discount Code “EC6208” when you book, and the sale fares are available through January 12th, for travel between January 20th and March 15th.
