Attached to the pajamas provided to First Class passengers, which by the way are the best quality I’ve ever received on board a flight, is a ticket for a complimentary gift from PYE that can be picked up at various stores across Asia. PYE is a Hong Kong-based tailor that is a renowned shirtmaker known for its bespoke clothing.
My wife and I flew round-trip to Hong Kong in First Class, so we received four of these gifts which we picked up at the PYE store in Pacific Place shopping center. The gift is a beautiful boxed set of 6 very high-quality pocket squares in a variety of patterns which is perfect for matching any outfit. Good quality pocket squares can easily retail for $20+ a piece, so this quite a generous gift that PYE is providing to Cathay Pacific passengers. Perhaps it was meant to smooth the transition from the previous vendor, Shanghai Tang, which had a loyal following.

From what I’ve heard yes. Although I haven’t flown them before. That will change when I fly them in J from BKK-LAX early next year.
I definitely think Cathay deserves to be the world’s best airline. Their economy, business and first class products are all at or near the top of their game.
Cathay have consistently outperformed other competitors in customer service. Hard products can be very similar, but it is the soft products that make the difference.
Cathay’s customer service is absolutely fantastic! My most recent flight was scheduled in economy from TPE to HKG. I arrived at the airport really early, and the check-in attendant said another flight was about to leave in about 30 minutes but would I mind sitting in business class rather than economy (no additional charge). Um, sure, no problem. It was the first time I thought a flight was too short. Great customer service is definitely what sets Cathay apart.
Cathay is my go-to airline when flying to Asia because of their consistently superior food, service and entertainment options.

Yes well deserved. Absolutely phenomenal First product for long haul. Service is amazing as well. Last haul was US bound so didn’t get a chance to redeem the certificate – would love these squares.
