I received an email from TravelZoo this morning with a a bunch of local Bay Area deals – in case you’re interested here’s the full list over on their website. From the email, there were two deals that piqued my interest – their matching algorithms must be working well, since they captured two of my biggest interests, sports and food:

  • Another great deal is for 33% off at the Michelin-starred Chez TJ located in Mountain View, CA. This has been on my to-eat list for quite some time, and is a great opportunity to try it out at a reduced price. There are three different tasting menu options, all of which have been discounted. Also, note the fine print below which states that the deal is not valid on Saturdays, and must be booked via phone.

  • $99 for the eight-course chef’s tasting menu for one (reg. $150)
  • $199 for the chef’s tasting menu for one with the Grand Wine Pairing (reg. $300)
  • $850 for the chef’s tasting menu for eight people with a glass of Kir Royale each (reg. $1328)
