Seth Rogen’s Dog Denied Boarding, Followed By Twitter Rant
Something tells me this will all be re-enacted in a scene in one of Seth Rogen’s future movies.
Apparently, Seth Rogen and his wife tried to check-in their dog on a Cathay Pacific flight, and were told to stand-by for 90 minutes before being denied from flying. Of course, this led to a Twitter rant where he told all of his followers to never fly Cathay Pacific again.
Cathay Pacific recently won the award for Best Airline in the World and my experiences with them have been nothing but pleasant, so there must be more to the story.
I advise everyone to never fly @cathaypacific if possible. They are bad people.

Next time you're about to book a flight on @cathaypacific just remember this tweet, and then book another airline, because they are bad.

My wife is missing a funeral because @cathaypacific wouldn't let her and our dog on a plane after they let us book the trip with the dog.

Twitter user Danny Lee seems to have the answer – the Rogen’s dog is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel which is not allowed to be on-board the plane due to risk of suffocation. This is all spelled out in Cathay’s “Travelling with Pets” site.
According to @cathaypacific they do not allow Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (@Sethrogen's breed of dog) to fly either in cabin or cargo

I can understand his frustration with the situation, but clearly it seems like a wild over-reaction to call Cathay “bad people” and a situation that he’s gotten himself into by not looking at the terms and conditions in detail. It will be interesting to see how Cathay handles the ensuiing PR mess since this is clearly a case where the passenger is flat out wrong.
